President Wants Stake In Project To Build New Reactors At Hungary’s Paks
Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic is looking for a stake in the Paks 2 nuclear project in Hungary.
Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic said Serbia intends to propose to Budapest that it become a stakeholder in the project to build new nuclear reactors at Hungary’s Paks nuclear site.

Mr Vucic told TV channel Prva that Serbia wants to take a 5-10% stake on the project to build two Russia-supplied plants at Paks 2.

“Let's try to talk to the Hungarians,” he said. “They are building Paks 2 with the Russians and I am going to suggest that we're going to be involved in this with 5% or 10%, that's between €500 million and €1 billion, so that we can use some of that electricity.”
