Philippine Senate Approves Bill to Create Nuclear Regulator

The Philippine Senate has approved on final reading a bill to establish the Philippine Atomic Energy Regulatory Authority (PhilATOM), marking a major step toward developing a legal and regulatory framework for the country’s planned introduction of nuclear power.
