Westinghouse Begins Initial Engineering Study For New AP1000 Unit At Kozloduy Nuclear Plant

US-based nuclear equipment manufacturer Westinghouse Electric announced a contract for a front-end engineering and design (Feed) study with Bulgaria’s state-owned company Kozloduy NPP-Newbuild (KNPP-Newbuild) which is to support the proposed deployment of a new AP1000 pressurised water reactor (PWR) unit at Kozloduy.
