Teollisuuden Voima Oyj submitted on 8 April an application to the Finnish regulator Stuk to load nuclear fuel at the Olkiluoto-3 EPR nuclear power plant, but warned in a statement that operation of the Generation III plant could be delayed by the coronavirus pandemic.
TVO said in a statement it estimates that it will take “a few months” to obtain the licence.
The application includes details of the plant’s status and readiness for fuel loading and work needed at the site before the loading can take place.
