Samsung C&T Engineering & Construction Group, in collaboration with Fermi Energia, has been selected to receive funding support from the South Korean government for a pre-feasibility study related to Estonia’s planned new nuclear energy project.
The pre-feasibility study will be conducted until April 2026, with the final report to be delivered in April 2026 by Samsung C&T.
The study will analyse the technical, financial, legal and market aspects of deploying advanced small modular reactor (SMR) technology in Estonia, supporting Fermi Energia’s ongoing planning process.
