Workers have installed the outer steel containment dome for the first commercial nuclear project using its homegrown Linglong One small modular reactor (SMR) design, the China National Nuclear Corporation said.
Lifting in place of the 550-tonne component took 1 hour and 38 minutes to complete on Tuesday 6 February, said a statement.
