US-based small modular rector developer NuScale Power has signed a memorandum of understanding to explore the deployment of NuScale’s SMR at coal-fired power plant sites in Poland.

The MOU, with Getka Group and Unitmot, is the second of its kind this week. On Thursday, NuScale announced it had signed a similar agreement with KGHM Polska Miedź and PBE Molecule.

Getka is an Oklahoma-based integrated energy company providing construction and delivery of petroleum, refined products, and alternative energy. Unimot is a Poland-based multi-energy group that offers fuel products, gas and electricity, including renewable energy.
