Bloc had 106 reactors, down from 109 in early 2020
Thirteen EU member states with commercial nuclear power plants generated 731,701 GWh of nuclear electricity, an increase of seven percent compared with 48,189 GWh in 2020 and accounting for over 25% of the bloc’s total electricity production, according to figures released by Eurostat on 21 December.
