Hot functional testing has been completed at Unit 1 of the Sanao nuclear power station in the eastern Chinese province of Zhejiang, the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA) said.
Hot testing is performed to verify the operation of reactor components and systems together and confirm the reactor is ready for the loading of fuel.
