Downward trend in Americas and Europe the result of retirements
Nuclear generation increased by 3.5% in 2021, almost reaching its 2019 levels, and is expected to grow by 1% annually from 2022 to 2024, mostly supported by nuclear generation growth in the Asia Pacific region, a report by the International Energy Agency says.
