Workers have installed the first tier of the internal steel containment shell for the first unit of the El Dabaa nuclear power station in Egypt, Russia’s state nuclear corporation Rosatom said.
El Dabaa, Egypt’s first commercial nuclear power station, will have four Generation III+ VVER-1200 reactors supplied by Russia under agreements signed in 2015 and 2017.
