The US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) will bring a delegation of Filipino nuclear energy leaders to the US on a reverse trade mission to build partnerships with US suppliers of advanced nuclear energy technologies and support the Philippines’ energy security.

The mission will include a financing roundtable with US government and international stakeholders to explore mechanisms for securing finance for project implementation.

While in the US from October 10-17, the 15-member delegation of government and private sector representatives will travel to Washington, DC and the US Department of Energy’s Idaho National Laboratory in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where they will see onsite nuclear technology deployments and discuss factors for deploying nuclear energy infrastructure.
