Rolls-Royce is assessing the future of its international civilian nuclear operations, amid media reports that it is negotiating two separate deals worth a combined total of about £200m.The company is reportedly in discussions with a consortium led by France-based Framatome, a subsidiary of EDF, while it is also attempting to sell its other international civil nuclear operations to a private equity firm in the US.However, Rolls-Royce officials have only confirmed that the group is “carrying out a review of options of the mainly non-UK parts of its civil nuclear business”.
