The Russian drone attack last year on the New Safe Confinement (NSC) at the Chornobyl nuclear power station has placed nearly two decades of patient international collaboration in jeopardy and shattered confidence that the facility’s legacy can be managed, the president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has said.
