Russia’s Leningrad 2-2 nuclear power plant is ready to enter the pre-commissioning testing phase, with the expected flushing of its primary circuit, state nuclear operator Rosenergoatom said.Next steps will include cold and hot hydraulic tests before fuel can be loaded into the reactor core.Earlier this month, Rosenergoatom loaded 163 dummy fuel assemblies into the unit which will remain in place until the end of 2019 to enable testing to proceed.
