Study will help assess potential locations, costs and regulatory steps for first nuclear plants
The US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) has signed an agreement with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) for a feasibility study to provide technical analysis of US small modular reactor (SMR) technologies that would generate about 600 MW of electricity, enough to power hundreds of thousands of homes.
