Plan is to deploy ‘several sets’ of reactors to provide power to new, advanced data centres
US-based Holtec’s small modular reactor technology, the SMR-300, has completed Step 2 of the UK’s generic design assessment (GDA), putting subsidiary Holtec Britain one step closer to deploying plants for an $11bn (€9.5bn) project in Nottinghamshire, England.
