The US Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has not revoked a notice of intent to award a contract (NOITA) on behalf of the Department of the Air Force to US-based nuclear technology company Oklo to provide heat and electricity to the Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska.

In an email seen by NucNet the DLA said the Department of the Air Force was made aware of a recent news publication which stated the planned contract had been “revoked”.

The email said in September 2023, a “pre-filing notice of protest” to the notice of intent was submitted to the Court of Federal Claims by one of the unsuccessful bidders, which resulted in a rescission of the notice by the DLA Energy Office.
