Turkey has signed an agreement with Canada to explore the potential deployment of the Candu reactor technology in the country.
A memorandum of understanding was signed in Toronto between the Turkish Nuclear Energy Corporation (Tunas) and Canadian-based nuclear energy company AtkinsRealis in the presence of Turkey’s minister of energy and natural resources, Alparslan Bayraktar, and his Canadian counterpart, Tim Hodgson.
