Russia’s Atomenergoprom, the holding company that holds all civilian nuclear assets of state nuclear corporation Rosatom, has reported a 60% increase in profit in 2023 compared to 2022.

The official Tass news agency reported that Atomenergoprom’s 2023 profit was $2.73bn (€2.57bn), according to the company’s consolidated accounts. The figure for 2022 was $1.68bn.

Tass said the company’s revenue was $21.74bn in 2023, an increase of about 40% from the $15.22bn in 2022.

Reports said the bulk of the revenue, $14.78bn, came from business within Russia.
