US nuclear fuel company Standard Nuclear has signed a binding fuel supply agreement (FSA) for supply of triso fuel with Antares Nuclear, a nuclear fission energy company developing microreactors for defence and space applications.

As part of the FSA, the second such agreement signed by Standard Nuclear in recent weeks, Standard Nuclear will deliver a minimum of one metric ton of Uranium (MTU) and potentially up to eight MTUs, of triso fuel to Antares to 2035.

Antares will use Standard Nuclear’s triso fuel to power its microreactors, which are designed to enable critical mission capabilities for both the Department of War and commercial customers.
