The welding of the main circulation pipeline has started for Unit 1 of the of the Rooppur nuclear power station under construction in Bangladesh, Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom said.
The pipeline connects the reactor pressure vessel with the steam generators and the reactor coolant pumps. The development is a “key” milestone for the project, Rosatom said.
