Small modular reactor (SMR) developer Rolls-Royce SMR has chosen Aker Solutions of Norway as its primary partner for the supply of non-nuclear parts for modules that will form part of the UK company’s nuclear plants.
The agreement will bring expertise from the oil and gas sector into nuclear for the first time, Rolls-Royce SMR said.
