Temporary, private site will store used nuclear fuel and high-level waste
The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued Holtec International with a final licence to build and operate a consolidated interim storage facility (CISF) for used nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive waste in the US state of New Mexico.
