President Announces 6 October As Nuclear Referendum Day

A referendum on the construction of a nuclear power station in Kazakhstan will be held on 6 October 2024, Kazakh president Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said during his annual state-of-the-nation address on 2 September, according to the official Akorda press service.
