The construction of Belarus’ first commercial nuclear power station will strengthen the country’s economic sovereignty and ensure long-term sustainable development, prime minister Roman Golovchenko said at a meeting of Commonwealth of Independent States heads of government, the Belarusian state news agency Belta reported.
