The nuclear share in the overall national electricity production in Armenia was 27.8% in 2019, an increase of 8.6% from 2018, according to annual results.Armenian-2, a 375-MW VVER-V270 pressurised water reactor, is the country’s only nuclear unit in commercial operation. In 2019, it produced 2.03 TWh of electricity.
