NRG Pallas, the company building the new Pallas research reactor in the Netherlands, has signed a partnership with US multinational Flowserve Corporation for the supply of key long-lead items.

NRG Pallas said Flowserve would provide the primary cooling pumps for Pallas. The pumps are used to maintain forced circulation of cooling water through the reactor pressure vessel to remove the heat produced during reactor operation.
