Committee member warns some in administration want to turn regulatory body into a ‘rubber stamp’
Democratic members of the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) told lawmakers on 3 September that it is a possibility they could be fired by president Donald Trump at any moment for their regulatory decisions.
