Operator Pacific Gas and Electric wants to keep the two-unit facility online for another 20 years
The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission has accepted an application from Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) to operate the two-unit Diablo Canyon nuclear power station in California beyond 2024 and 2025.
