The company said the country’s four nuclear units produced 15,920 GWh (15.9 TWh) of electricity and supplied 14,729 GWh (14.7 TWh) of electricity to the grid in 2022, representing year-on-year growth of 1.2% for production and 1.09% for grid supply.
Slovenske Elektrarne said Mochovce’s record result was due to an increase in the efficiency of the units, which included replacing the turbines, reconstructing auxiliary systems and increasing the efficiency of the cooling towers.
