Company aiming to operate 780-MW unit for 60 years
Kansai Electric Power has applied to Japan’s Nuclear Regulation Authority (NRA) to continue operating the 780-MW Takahama-1 nuclear power plant after the facility reaches 50 years of operation in November 2024.
