Employment grew 6% in 2024, largely driven by China, but agency also warns on skills shortages
Nuclear jobs growth leapt in 2024 and will continue to rise under all of the International Energy Agency’s (IEA) economic growth forecasts, despite headwinds surrounding skilled workers, according to the Paris-based institution’s World Energy Employment 2025 report.
