Japan’s Nuclear Capacity Factor Increases To Highest Level Since Fukushima

The average capacity factor of Japan’s nuclear power plants in fiscal year 2025 reached 33.6%, while total electricity generation was to 97.2 TWh, according to data obtained by Nuclear Industry Journal, the official media outlet of the Tokyo-based Japan Atomic Industrial Forum (JAIF).
