Agency says regulator’s challenge is to prepare for expansion of nuclear programme
Bulgaria has a comprehensive and robust regulatory framework for nuclear and radiation safety, but the country’s regulatory system would be improved with the adoption of a national safety policy and strategy in line with International Atomic Energy Agency safety standards, the IAEA has said.
