Hot functional testing has been completed for Unit 3 of the Xudapu* nuclear power station being built in Liaoning province in northeast China, said the official China National Nuclear Power News Network (CNNPN).
Xudapu-3 is of the Russian VVER-1200 pressurised water reactor (PWR) design. Construction began in July 2021.
