US-based Fulcrum Point Holdings has announced an agreement with Blue Castle Holdings to advance the existing Blue Castle nuclear project near the city of Green River in Utah through the next stages of site development, NRC licensing and eventual reactor deployment.
Fulcrum Point, headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, develops, finances and operates energy generation assets with a focus on power projects in the eight states of the Mountain West region.
The company said in a statement that the project represents a significant economic development opportunity for the region, with the expectation to support construction jobs, long-term skilled energy sector jobs, and more demand for energy as Utah grows.
