NRG Pallas has begun pouring concrete for the foundation floor of the reactor building of the new Pallas research reactor at Petten in the Netherlands.

The company said on social media that the concrete pouring is the last step of the reactor pit and foundation.

The 1.5-metre-thick floor is poured in five sections and once completed will form the complete foundation for the construction of the Pallas reactor.
