Eight companies have been awarded places on the UK government’s £8.7m (€9.8m, $11.5m) Nuclear Energy Regulatory Justification Services Framework, which will help the government as it prepares to deploy new nuclear power plants.
The appointment to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) framework mean the companies are all approved suppliers to provide technical advice and expertise in support of the UK’s nuclear programme.
The eight companies are Egis, Frazer Nash, Assystem, Afry, PA Consulting Services, TUV SUD, Energy, Safety and Risk Consultants and RSK Environment.
