France’s state energy company EDF is poised to submit plans for two EPR reactors at the £18bn Sizewell C nuclear power station in the UK, which which will supply 7% of the country’s electricity The Times reported (subscription).
The Times said China General Nuclear (CGN) is funding 20% of the Sizewell C development, with EDF shouldering the rest of the cost.
