Canadian Strategic Missions Corporation (CSMC) is receiving a CAD4.5m (USD3.1m, €2.8m) investment from the government of Ontario to accelerate the development of a micro-nuclear reactor for civilian and military deployment in Canada’s Arctic.

The goal is a fuelled demonstration unit by 2030, with fleet-scale deployment in the early 2030s.
