US-based utility Constellation Energy has signed an agreement with the US Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) to cooperate on carbon-free energy sources including wind, solar and nuclear power.

Constellation, formerly Exelon, owns and operates 21 nuclear reactor units across several states, making it the largest nuclear operator in the country.
