Hot functional testing has been completed at for Unit 7 of the Tianwan nuclear power station under construction in Jiangsu province, eastern China.
The China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) said commercial operation of the unit is scheduled for 2026 as nuclear fuel loading and grid connection are expected to proceed “according to plan”.
