Italian company Ansaldo Nucleare has provided the fuel handling machine control system (FHMCS) to Russia’s Atommashexport for the refuelling of Tianwan-3 and -4 nuclear plants in eastern China.According to Ansaldo, the FHMCS took 18 months to develop. It is based on microprocessor technology, created to increase the reliability level of the operation of the fuel handling machine
