Russia has begun the production of heavy components – including the reactor pressure vessels – for the seventh and eighth power units at the Tianwan nuclear power station in Jiangsu province, eastern China.State nuclear corporation Rosatom said casting of the raw blanks for forging had been carried out by OMZ-Special Steels in St. Petersburg and Energomashspetsstal PJSC in Kramatorsk, Ukraine.
