US company working on major projects to roll out Xe-100 small modular reactor
X-energy, a company backed by technology giant Amazon, has closed one of the largest fundraisings by an advanced nuclear reactor developer with a $700m (€607m) funding round led by US investor Jane Street with participation from more than 10 other institutional investors.
