US states continued to accelerate policies in 2025 to promote nuclear energy in the country, but funding remains the top issue as key for deployment, according to a report by Washington-based thinktank the Atlantic Council.
The report said that in 2025, 45 of the country’s 50 states passed 350 nuclear-related bills and enacted 60, which was a similar level to 2024.
