Unit 1 at Alabama nuclear station shut down automatically
The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission has begun a special inspection at Unit 1 of the Farley nuclear power station in Alabama due to a partial loss of offsite power and subsequent issues with a turbine-driven auxiliary feed pump.
