New plant will produce life-saving molybdenum-99
The US Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Energy Dominance Financing has issued a conditional commitment for a loan of up to $263m (€224m) to US fusion technology company Shine to support the construction of Chrysalis, a high-volume medical radioisotope production facility in Janesville, Wisconsin.
