20 Aug (NucNet): The US Department of Energy has awarded a contract to Babcock and Wilcox (B&W) Company for the cleanup of the Portsmouth gaseous diffusion plant in the state of Ohio, the company announced on 17 August 2010. The contract could be worth up to 2.1 billion US dollars (USD) (1.63 billion euro) over 10 years.
